Midnight Sun Silent Yoga Retreat

I want to share with you something that I am really excited about.  A good friend of mine and fellow yogi, Maya, has asked me to take part as head chef for an amazing silent retreat she, together with our fellow philosophy teacher, and mentor from India, Sudhir, will be hosting. I am so humble to be handed this opportunity to work closely with such inspiring people. Sudhir was my philosophy teacher during my yoga teacher training in India, and his lessons and words left the strongest impression within me in retrospect of the training. Just the fact that he is coming to Norway to share his wisdom with us makes me beyond excited, and that I can assist him is simply amazing. I am sure that this retreat will be a soul changing experience for anyone that chose to commit, I know for sure something happened in me after a month in India around this man.

So let me tell you a little bit about the retreat, and hopefully you will feel drawn to join us. The retreat will find place on a small island, Krokholmen, outside of Bodø, in the north of Norway (See picture above), June 16-21. It is a silent retreat where the idea is to tune into our true selves and invoking our inner sun. Sudhir will guide you through mediation and pranayama (breathing) and teach you technics to help calm the constant stream of thoughts in our mind.  There will also be daily asana practice led by beautiful Maya. You can view these five days as the first big step in the towards waking your inner potential. There will also be served nourishing, plant based food that will make your body thrive. The menu will be created by me and my mission is to bring to you food that that will nourish both your body and soul, after all we need to take care of this wonderful temple we are living in.
